Bringing the coast to a wider audience

Drawing inspiration from coastal travels both near and far, Salt Traders models the menus after their most memorable meals by the sea. The Salt Traders’ crew asked us to help grow their audiences by creating consistent communication and developing new opportunities to tell their story in authentic and creative ways.

the Solution

We developed a marketing calendar to highlight Salt Traders’ premium and fresh-off-the-boat product, community partnerships, and constant new menu items, across social, email, and earned media, and then got to work telling those stories, like:

  • Salt Traders’ constant ability to pivot through the pandemic with new to-go programs, menu items, and operational improvements.
  • Taking advantage of the Zilker location’s proximity to ACL Festival and ensuing the foot traffic, we created a pop-up Salt Traders Coastal Limits tent serving up fish tacos and frozen margaritas to-go, and social campaign that played off the ACL Festival graphics.
  • With entirely new brunch offerings, we designed menus and collateral for in-store promotion, launched a social and email campaign, worked with local media, and partnered with social influencers to make it the can’t-miss-brunch of the season.


Social and email audiences have grown, private events bookings have gone up, and brand awareness and sales increased at both locations.
